This park stretches along the coral reef of the whole Bamburi coast. The Kenya Wildlife Service is in charge of the protection of the fragile marine environment and imposes an entrance fee for water sports activities such as snorkeling, diving, or glass bottom boat.

Author Nana Grosse-Woodley who’s living in Kenya, has dedicated her book Tsavo Trilogy to the unique ecosystem of the Tsavo National Park. Within the three volumes » Stories Book«, »Nature & Landscape Book« and »Travel Log Book« the reader gets to know every important fact about this exceptional National Park and its history. The idea of writing a trilogy about the Park and its inhabitants came from Severin Schulte. The Tsavo Trilogy can be found at the old telephone booth near the reception.

Towels are available at the pool areas. We kindly ask you not to take them out of the property, including the beach area.

The water sports centre next to the Safari Pool offers a great variety of water sports activities. From sailing to snorkeling, from diving to glass bottom boat rides. There is a free scuba diving try-out several times a week at our swimming pool.

We have a history museum near the reception. The museum shows the development of Kenya, tourism in Kenya, and our Severin Sea Lodge. Please feel free and pass by!

Your security is our top priority. To help us keep you safe during your stay, we kindly ask you to follow these simple guidelines.

Our dedicated security team is on duty 24 hours a day, ensuring your safety at all times. Should you encounter any risky or dangerous situations, please contact security or reception immediately. The hotel is also equipped with 24-hour CCTV surveillance for added peace of mind. When leaving the hotel, we recommend being cautious around strangers and securing your valuables in the room safe.

If you lose your room key, please notify the reception desk immediately. Before leaving your room, double-check that your entrance and balcony doors are securely locked. Do not share your room number or give your room key to anyone unauthorized. Always use the peephole to identify visitors before opening the door. If you feel unsafe at any time, please inform the reception immediately. All hotel employees wear name tags and carry identification cards while on duty. Non-registered visitors are not allowed in your room.

The hotel is not responsible for any loss of money or valuables that are not properly secured in the room safe. Please ensure that valuables such as jewelry, money, and personal documents are always locked securely in your safe.

Familiarize yourself with the nearest fire exit and fire extinguisher locations by referring to the plan on your room door. Please do not light any open flames and avoid smoking in bed. If you detect a fire, immediately inform reception and activate the nearest fire alarm. In the event of a fire alarm, follow the instructions of our trained staff. When evacuating, close your room door, take your room key, and leave your luggage behind. Calmly exit the hotel via the nearest fire exit. The assembly points are located next to the Swing Bar on the beach or outside the main gate. If the door handle of your room is too hot, remain in your room. Close the windows, turn off the air conditioning, seal the door crack with wet towels or sheets, fill the sink with water, and notify the reception of your location.
